Description 5(6)-Carboxy-2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein diacetate N-succinimidyl ester, an amine-reactive fluorescent tracer, is used for cell imaging and live cell tracking. It is initially colorless and non-fluorescent, but upon hydrolysis by intracellular esterases it expresses bright green fluoresence. Cell-permeable dye. Used for detecting intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS).
