Pathogenesis of Vascular Diseases

Vascular disease is the manifestation of systemic vasculopathy or systemic vasculopathy in the heart and brain. Its etiology has the following main aspects: vascular factors such as atherosclerosis, hypertensive atherosclerosis of small arteries and arteritis; hemodynamic factors such as hypertension; blood rheology abnormalities such as hyperlipidemia and diabetes mellitus; and blood component factors such as leukemia, anemia and thrombocytosis.

• Atherosclerosis
  Atherosclerosis is a causal factor in the development of many vascular diseases, and it often leads to a range of cardiovascular complications such as angina pectoris, arrhythmias, heart failure, myocardial infarction and stroke.
  
• Hemodynamic
  Hemodynamic factors are one of the risk factors for vascular diseases, which mainly include blood flow, resistance to blood flow, and blood pressure. Among them, hypertension is the most common factor in hemodynamic disease.
  
• Blood Rheology
  When blood becomes more viscous, blood flow decreases, which also leads to the occurrence of thrombotic disorders. Hyperlipoproteinemia is one of the major risk factors for vascular diseases.
