Analysis of Nrf2 Pathway in Ischemic Stroke

Oxidative stress caused by excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) plays a key role in the inflammatory response after stroke. Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2), as one of the most critical antioxidant transcription factors in cells, can regulate the expression of a large number of antioxidants and/or defense proteins and has been considered to be involved in mitigating harmful oxidative events that occur in the body. Targeting Nrf2 is currently considered a potential strategy to prevent and treat cerebral ischemic injury. Nrf2 plays a crucial role in the management of excessive oxidative stress after stroke. In addition, the expression level of Nrf2 can affect the recovery and prognosis of ischemic stroke injury.

Our Services

Ace Therapeutics is at the forefront of Nrf2 pathway research and analysis in ischemic stroke. Our team of highly skilled experts uses state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge experimental methods to study the mechanisms of Nrf2 in cerebral ischemic stroke, the relationship between Nrf2 signaling and inflammation, and to develop Nrf2 as a potential therapeutic target for stroke.

We use multiple animal models of ischemic stroke to analyze the molecular mechanisms involved in the Nrf2 pathway and establish in vitro and in vivo models of aberrant Nrf2 expression through drug administration and genetic manipulation to ensure that we provide high-quality data on the relationship between the Nrf2 pathway and ischemic stroke. We can analyze multiple downstream signaling pathways of Nrf2 to help clients elucidate its mechanisms against oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction in ischemic brain injury.

  • Keap1/Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway
  • PI3K/Akt Nrf2 signaling pathway
  • MAPK/Nrf2 signaling pathway
  • Nrf2/NF-κB signaling pathway
  • Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway
  • Nrf2/NLRP3 inflammasome signaling pathway

Our Methods

  • We offer a range of molecular techniques, including RNA-seq, quantitative PCR (qPCR), western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, to measure gene expression, protein levels, and cellular localization of key players in the Nrf2 pathway.
  • We offer comprehensive behavioral assessment services to measure behavioral, cognitive, and other aspects of animals after stroke.
  • We provide histological assessment services to detect brain damage in animal models of stroke.
  • We perform gene microarray and protein microarray screens for glutathione, thioredoxin, G6PDH, and 6PGD-related associated pathways to identify differential targets.

Ace Therapeutics provides comprehensive analysis services to elucidate how Nrf2 regulates oxidative stress and its role in cerebral ischemic stroke. Through advanced methodologies and partnerships, we help our clients develop Nrf2 as a new potential target for the treatment of stroke.
