Collagen Gel Culturing Kit from Ace Therapeutics is a ready-to-use kit for form gel. This kit consists of the all reagents required for the experiment, including cellmatrix type I-A, Ham F-12 culture medium, MEM Hanks culture medium, and reconstitution buffer.

Collagens Type IV is derived from bovine tissue treated with pepsin. This product does not gel and needs to be mixed with collagen type I-A.

Porcine Collagen Type I, 30 mg from Ace Therapeutics is purified from porcine tendon. Type I collagen is found in connective tissues and is the major component of tensile strength of the extracellular matrix (ECM). The product is widely used as a thin layer on tissue-culture surfaces to enhance the attachment and proliferation of a variety of cells including endothelial cells, fibroblasts, hepatocytes, epithelial cells, etc. In addition, the product can self-assemble into a 3-D supramolecular gel in vitro as an ideal biological scaffold.

Mouse Collagen Type I and III, 5 mg from Ace Therapeutics is purified from rom tail tendons of the mouse. Type I collagen is the most abundant collagen and is found in connective tissues including tendons, ligaments, dermis, and blood vessels. Type III collagen is the second most abundant collagen in tissues and is found most commonly in tissues exhibiting elastic properties such as skin, lungs, intestinal walls, and walls of blood vessels, which resembles other fibrillar collagens in structure and function.

Bovine Collagen I from Ace Therapeutics is a purified stromal extracellular matrix protein from fetal bovine extensor tendons and is pepsin-treated to remove telopeptides. This product promotes cell adhesion for cell and tissue culture.

The rat tail collagen I provided by Ace Therapeutics is prepared according to the Birkedal-Hansen method through acetic acid extraction, sodium chloride precipitation, and disodium hydrogen phosphate precipitation. This product is derived from a rat tail, dissolved in 0.02M HAc solution, and the purity is greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE, and it is sterile.

This product is a sterile solution dissolved in 6mM HAc, with a concentration of 5mg/ml. Each batch of products passes cell culture testing (including three-dimensional space culture) to ensure quality reliability. Note: Please keep the entire operation at a low temperature on ice because rat tail collagen I at room temperature can quickly form a gel.
