Ulcerative Proctitis Research Services

Ulcerative proctitis is the inflammation of the lining in the inner wall of the rectum. This condition typically affects less than six inches of the rectum, and it is not associated with an increased risk of cancer. Ulcerative proctitis is responsible for distressing symptoms including increased rectal bleeding, tenesmus, urgency, faecal leakage, faecal incontinence and reduced quality of life.
