Senior Scientist, Drug Discovery
We are looking for highly qualified and motivated senior scientists to join our dynamic IBD drug discovery team. You
will play a key role in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments aimed at identifying and optimizing
potential drug candidates for the treatment of IBD.
Responsibility |

Participate in drug discovery for IBD, including identification and validation of new drug
targets and preclinical studies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high quality data and
milestones.

Apply your deep understanding of cellular and molecular biology, immunology, and
pharmacology to design and execute experiments designed to characterize IBD mechanisms and
assess the efficacy and safety of drug candidates.

Utilize state-of-the-art techniques and assays to assess target engagement, pathway
modulation, and therapeutic efficacy in in vitro and in vivo models relevant to IBD.

Employ statistical methods and data visualization techniques to effectively communicate
results to team members, stakeholders, and senior management.

Foster strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to leverage expertise,
resources, and technology to support drug discovery efforts.

Qualifications |

Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, immunology, gastroenterology or related discipline.

Expertise in the field of IBD and in-depth knowledge of underlying disease mechanisms.

Extensive experience in designing and executing in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate
efficacy and safety of drug candidates.

Proficient in a variety of molecular and cellular biology techniques including cell culture,
molecular cloning, gene expression analysis and protein characterization.

Familiarity with IBD-related animal models and experience in developing and implementing
translational strategies.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate and interpret
complex data sets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present
scientific findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong publication record in reputable scientific journals and/or patents.
