Experimental Project Director, IBD

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading teams of scientists in the development and implementation of client IBD experimental programs. She/he will be able to provide expert guidance and direction to the overall project utilizing current research trends in the pathogenesis of IBD and IBD.

Responsibility
  • Responsible for experimental projects related to IBD research, including planning, execution and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Develop and implement experimental protocols to advance understanding of IBD, identify potential therapeutic targets, and design innovative experimental approaches.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to leverage expertise and resources to achieve project success.
  • Provide scientific guidance and direction to research teams to ensure compliance with protocols, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports, conduct presentations, and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences including the scientific community and management team.
  • Supervise and mentor researchers to foster a collaborative and productive work environment while promoting professional growth and development.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, immunology, gastroenterology or related discipline.
  • Experience in IBD research and a strong track record of scientific achievement.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively mentor and motivate a research team, manage resources and drive project success.
  • In-depth knowledge of IBD pathophysiology, emerging research trends, and experimental techniques used in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment.
  • Drug discovery and development experience preferred.
