Infective endocarditis is usually an infection of the endocardium due to a bacterial or fungal infection, which can cause fever, heart murmur, vascular embolism, or endocardial growths. Ace Therapeutics aims to provide clients with integrated services for basic research and drug development for infective endocarditis.
The normal heart is relatively resistant to infection. Bacteria and fungi are less likely to adhere to the surface of the endocardium, and constant blood flow helps to prevent microorganisms from colonizing endocardial structures. Thus, two factors are usually required for endocarditis. Firstly, a pre-existing abnormality of the endocardium as a causative factor, and secondly, the presence of microorganisms (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus) in the bloodstream on normal valves causing endocarditis.

Pathogens that cause infective endocarditis include staphylococci, enterococci, or streptococci, etc. The development of highly effective and specific drugs that inhibit and kill the pathogens that cause infections is a key direction in drug development for infections caused by different pathogens.

Research Models
Basic Research
Drug Development
We deeply understand that the construction of infectious disease models is the foundation of infective endocarditis research, so we aim to provide professional animal model development services to meet our clients' research needs.
Animal Models of Infective Endocarditis
Endocarditis is usually an infection of the endocardium that can eventually lead to embolization of the blood vessels of the heart as well as impaired heart function. We can provide animal models of infective endocarditis disease induced by different agents.
Cardiomyocyte Cell Lines
For in vitro drug screening or pharmacodynamic studies with pathogens that induce infective endocarditis, we can provide a wide range of cardiomyocyte cell lines to support researchers' experimental needs.
There are numerous pathogens that can cause infective endocarditis, and we can provide customized basic research laboratory outsourcing services based on our clients' unique research needs to facilitate the development and advancement of basic research on infective endocarditis.
Novel Biomarkers Discovery Services
The identification of pathogenic microorganisms and their markers is a critical step for both the diagnosis of infective endocarditis and the development of therapeutic approaches. Based on our professional multi-omics technology platform, we can provide customized biomarker discovery and validation services for our clients.
Pathology and Imaging Services
For animal studies of infective endocarditis, we can provide comprehensive and professional pathology and imaging services to help researchers better develop pathogenesis and pharmacodynamic assessment.
The drug therapy strategy for infective endocarditis is generally to clarify the pathogen that triggers the infection. We can provide our clients with professional drug discovery services, customized to provide outsourcing services for the whole process of new drug discovery based on their individual drug needs.
