In Vivo ADME Services for Stroke Drug Discovery and Development

In vivo ADME studies are a key component of the stroke drug development process and help assess the safety and risk outcomes of various studies. In vivo ADME studies are typically performed within living systems using radioactive labels to provide quantitative information on the distribution quality, metabolic rate, and excretion pathways of the stroke drug and its metabolites. Researchers also perform ex vivo studies, collecting tissue, cell, blood, or plasma samples from internal systems for experiments or studies.

Custom In Vivo ADME Services

Ace Therapeutics offers a wide range of in vivo ADME services to stroke pharmaceutical companies and researchers. Through our partnerships, each in vivo ADME study is planned and managed with the assistance of our team of experts. ADME packages may vary depending on the chemistry of the stroke drug candidate, and each study can be customized to meet your needs.

Study and Design

In Vivo ADME Package

Absorption Pharmacokinetics (PK)
We can analyze stroke compound concentrations in brain tissues to characterize the movement of compounds into the body (absorption) and build metabolite profiles to identify major circulating metabolites.
Distribution Quantitative Whole Body Autoradiography (QWBA)
We offer QWBA to visually and quantitatively determine the tissue distribution of stroke drugs. Radiolabeled test articles are injected into stroke animals, and radioactivity is then measured via cross-sectional slides to provide greater depth and detail of distribution between and within tissues or organs of interest. These data can help clients identify potentially target tissues or confirm appropriate exposure to therapeutic targets.
Metabolism Metabolic Analysis
We offer advanced techniques for metabolite identification and analysis of urine, feces, and bile samples collected from stroke animals. These data can provide information on the metabolites formed after stroke compound distribution to ensure the absence of any potentially harmful human-specific metabolites.
Excretion Mass Balance
We use radiolabeled stroke drugs to characterize the pathways and rates of drug excretion. From this study, the final fate of the compound can be obtained.
Biliary Excretion
We use radiolabeled stroke drugs to assess the rate of excretion through the bile. We use bile duct intubated animals and collect bile, urine, and feces for LC/MS analysis.
