Microglia are the resident macrophages of the central nervous system. They play critical roles in phagocytosis of cellular debris, presentation of foreign antigens, and as key sensors of pathological events such as ischemia. Activation of microglia after ischemic stroke involves several stereotypical events, including morphological transformation, proliferation, and polarization. However, the precise functional roles of activated microglia in ischemic stroke have not been fully elucidated. Studies have shown that activated microglia display different polarization phenotypes and that different events may occur during the complicated process of microglial activation under different ischemic conditions.

Ace Therapeutics provides comprehensive microglial dynamics assessment services to help clients assess the morphology of microglia, their process motility, and migration in animal models of stroke. Our microglial dynamics assessment services are designed to meet the needs of both basic research and drug screening, as well as efficacy evaluation. We provide comprehensive technical support to facilitate the development of innovative stroke therapies.
We use two-photon microscopy technology to perform in vivo brain imaging in live animals, providing high-resolution visualization of microglia with the following readouts:
Leveraging advanced imaging technologies and extensive expertise in stroke research, Ace Therapeutics has launched microglial dynamics assessment services. We aim to provide clients with high-resolution, real-time observation of microglial dynamics to facilitate in-depth studies of stroke pathology and the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
