Description Antifade Fluorescence Mounting Medium from Ace Therapeutics with propidium iodide (hardset) is used to prevent the photobleaching of fluorescent proteins and dyes during fluorescent imaging. This product contains propidium iodide which is a widely used red-fluorescent intercalating agent that binds and labels nucleic acids. Shipping Shipped at 4°C Important If the mounting medium solidifies prematurely during operation, simply heat the bottle to approximately 60°C and the mounting medium will reliquefy.
