A DNA sequence encoding the Human FOLH1 (NP_004467.1) (Lys44-Ala750) was expressed with a N-terminal polyhistidine tag followed by an AVI tag.The expressed protein was biotinylated in vivo by the Biotin-Protein ligase (BirA enzyme) which is co-expressed.

The recombinant Human FOLH1 consists of 732 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 82.72 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 99.7 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
