Molecule Mass

The recombinant human PDGFRα consists of 512 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 57.7 kDa. By SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhPDGFRα is approximately 70-80 kDa due to the glycosylation.
