Activity

1. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using SH‑SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 10-50 ng/mL in the presence of Recombinant Rat GFR alpha‑1/GDNF R alpha‑1 His Chimera. 2. Immobilized rat His-GDNF (78-211) at 10 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind rat GFRA1-Fc, The EC50 of rat GFRA1-Fc is 20-46.6 ng/ml.

The recombinant rat GDNF consists of 150 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 17.1 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 20 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
