Electrophysiologic techniques are an indispensable tool in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders. Ace Therapeutics is committed to applying our expertise and platform technologies to advance the study of neuro-biomarkers and EEG-based diagnostics for psychiatric disorders. Our one-stop service covers comprehensive solutions for electrophysiological index research, diagnostic tool development, and data analysis for psychiatric disorders. We aim to provide our clients with precise electrophysiological solutions to support diagnostic screening for psychiatric disorders, identify disease category subgroups, and facilitate response prediction.
Electroencephalogram analysis is a very powerful tool in interpreting and diagnosing brain states, but it is not used in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders due to its depth sensitivity and low spatial resolution. Recent methodological advances have demonstrated the potential of electrophysiological analysis for the classification and detection of psychiatric disorders.
For example, some event-related potentials, such as mismatch negativity, have been associated with neurocognition, function, and disease progression in schizophrenia. In addition, several EEG biomarkers have been widely evaluated in psychosis. Among them, mismatched negative waves (MMN) is a well-known EEG marker for schizophrenia associated with neurocognitive disorders in psychosis. These technological advances and research progress demonstrate the promise and significance of EEG in the precise diagnosis of psychiatric disorders.
