Biotechnology Specialist, Diabetes
Ace Therapeutics is committed to accelerating the preclinical discovery and therapy development of diabetes. To achieve this goal, we are seeking biotechnology specialist for diabetes research. The candidate will design scientific experiments and build bio-technique platforms for diabetes research.
Essential Responsibilities
- Identify and introduce trending metabolic disease-related biotechnologies to our research platforms.
- Set up new bio-technique platforms with potential applications in diabetes research.
- Work with the research team to support better adaptations of biotechnologies.
- Present project plans and ongoing progress on a regular basis.
Basic Qualifications
- Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology, bioengineering or biochemistry or other related fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in relevant biotech companies.
- Proficiency in biotechnologies, such as CRISPR/Cas9 based genome editing, multi-omics, antibody therapy and drug development.
- Proven abilities in project design and management, and capable of leading a research team.
- Ability to multitask and contribute in a challenging intellectual environment.
