Antibodies

Diabetes is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by a high blood sugar level (hyperglycemia) over a prolonged period of time. If it’s left untreated, many health complications will be caused, such as diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state, or death.

The diabetes antibodies are valuable tools for diabetes diagnostic and therapeutic development. On one hand, they can be used to detect proteins involved in diabetes for studying the mechanisms of diabetes. On the other hand, the diabetes antibodies can be employed to diagnose diabetes. For example, islet cell cytoplasmic autoantibodies (ICA), glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibodies (GADA), insulinoma-associated-2 autoantibodies (IA-2A) and insulin autoantibodies (IAA) are characteristic of type 1 diabetes, and the antibody test can help to diagnose and determine the diabetes.

Ace Therapeutics offers antibodies for diabetes research to accelerate the therapeutic development and the drug discovery processes for our global customers. As a pioneer of diabetes research, Ace Therapeutics provides the most comprehensive list of recombinant antibody products in the world.
