Application of Microfluidic Chips in the Diagnostics of Cardiovascular Diseases

Because microfluidics has the advantages of low sample consumption, high sensitivity, and automated analysis, it is ideally suited to studying complex cardiovascular biophysical interactions. Optical assays such as immunofluorescence, chemiluminescence, fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) are the main trends in the detection of biomarkers for cardiovascular diseases.
