Overview of Biocompatibility for Cardiovascular Implants

Cardiovascular implant biocompatibility evaluation mainly includes two categories: hemocompatibility and histocompatibility evaluation. The hemocompatibility evaluation focuses on the interaction between the implant material and the blood, while the histocompatibility evaluation mainly examines the effects of the implant on the tissues and organs of the cardiovascular system.
